John is Amsterdam Based, but works worldwide. Following his foundation in design, John honed his talent into an acclaimed career in filmmaking. From his interest in art, music, and storytelling, John found his voice in making films, music videos, and commercials. Enthralled by science and technology, he is inspired by ideas and possibilities.
With over a decade of experience helping renowned brands become culturally relevant, some of John’s clients include Wieden+Kennedy, Polaroid, Nike, EA Games, Audi, Heineken, Universal Music, Desperados, Instagram, Adidas, and Tommy Hilfiger. Alongside his work as a director John writes and develops creative short and long form advertising, branded content, and entertainment.
