Peter Lydon is a BAFTA nominated British director.
Having made his name in landmark British TV series like Shameless, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Teachers and Poirot, Peter has gone on to carve out a high profile in commercials. He has directed legends like Al Pacino, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mads Mikkelsen and Michael Caine, utilising their talents to produce award-winning campaigns for brands like Dunlop, Carlsberg, Samsung and Sky.
In 2024, Peter worked with icons like David Beckham, Erling Haaland and José Mourinho, showing off his ability to mine comedic performance from big name non-actors. His spots with José Mourinho for TOPPS, released to coincide with this year’s UEFA Championship, captured the deadpan essence of “The Special One”, winning three Clio awards.
