Mackenzie’s 2019 ‘Liberty Fields’ film for Guinness, won Silver for Best Direction at the Ciclope Awards; a Silver at the Kinsale Awards; and a British Arrow.
His 2019 six-part S7 Airlines ‘Visit Earth’ (Wieden & Kennedy, Amsterdam) series, a unique spin on the travel show format, has so far racked up over 35million views on YouTube. The comedic documentary “travel show for aliens” was even broadcast into space.
Known for his wide variety of storytelling in both fictional and documentary forms, agencies love working with Mackenzie in Japan because of his established network of local talent, helping to bridge cultural differences.
