Ayse Altinok is a Turkish-born filmmaker whose unique work is characterized by emotional narratives and rich visuals. With an art education (Majored in Graphic Design at the University of Mimar Sinan/Istanbul) and ten years of experience as an art director at Wieden + Kennedy in both Portland and Amsterdam, Ayse brings depth and beauty to projects from short films to music videos to commercials
Ayse’s work has been recognised internationally winning awards at the One Show, Epica, Art Director’s Club, AICP, Andy Award as well as a Gold Clio , an A La Flip Award, and a Van Gogh Award.
In 2009, Ayse’s first short film, ‘Hortum’ won the Special Just Prize at Amsterdam Film Festival before featuring in festival official selections around the world. Ayse’s second film ‘The Particulars’ won Best Drama and Best Actor at Oregon Independent Film Festival.
